Anonymous Players

If you play without signing in, we store a randomly generated client ID in your browser's local storage. No personal information is collected or stored on our servers.

Authenticated Players

If you sign in with Google or Discord, we collect and store:

• Account ID - A unique identifier from your OAuth provider
• Email address (Google only) - Used for account identification
• Display name - A name you choose, visible only to you
• Game progress - Credits, distance, upgrade levels, and other gameplay data

We do not store your OAuth access tokens long-term or access any data beyond basic profile information needed for authentication.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Save and restore your game progress across sessions and devices
• Identify your account for login purposes
• Display your chosen display name (if set)

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use:

• Session cookie - To maintain your login session (authenticated users only)
• Local storage - To store your client ID (anonymous users)

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies.

Data Retention

Your game data is retained as long as your account exists. Inactive accounts (no login for 2+ years) may be deleted.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure password hashing for session tokens
• Limited database access

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
